In Part 1 of this article on the psychology of regenerative transformation, I focused on why change is so hard, and how psychology can help us be more effective agents of change.
In Part 2, I’m going to focus on what we know about transformation, how it is different from change, and what I’ve learned in practice about what enables successful transformation to take place at personal, organizational, and social levels. And how we can make that transformation regenerative.
I’m the author of 8 books on a variety of topics, though psychology and transformation are like a golden thread that runs through all my work. A few years ago I wrote a book called “The Trouble with Paradise — A Humorous Enquiry into the Puzzling Human Condition in the 21st Century”, with a brilliant foreword by my friend Ken Wilber.
